I tried to listen to the Audiobook.
And apart from the fact, that it is really really badly written, the woman who reads the Audiobook in even worse.
I've stopped it. The author uses the same words in every second sentence and it's very very easy to imagine, that this book was originally a Twilight Fanfiction. And the Names.... aweful. I'm not masochstic enough to hear it to the End. It causes pain in my ears.

Anyway, Hilaria: Now that you are in Cambridge - has it ever occured to you to consider my recommendation? Stephen Fry? I finished the book a couple of weeks ago, and I still - or even more than before - think you should read it. (Well ... that goes for everybody else, too).
