In my grade, at least five persons dropped English. My former English teacher did quite a good job. 
I will most likely get to spend some days in London in summer.

Three of my friends did that, as well. But in grade 13 they re-started with English because they thought it would be bad if they forgot everything they had once learned

That's right, Nura.
Reading books is quite good and watching US/UK TV is maybe even better. Still, you need English classes to achieve a certain level from where you can learn on your own - and they provide a good opportunity to speak English.
