I don't really like classical music (it is classical music isn't it??????)

I think at 11 is a bbc documentation about pedophiles... until then.. well at 8.15 is family guy and mtv home...
.. i'll just watch whatever is on^^

Well, it is classical music, yes... but it's a rather jazzy interpretation of the even-more-classical Chopin  Sorry, I'm obsessively pedantic about music in a lot of ways... so what kind of music do you like then? :-) I love sharing artists, there's rarely a kind of music I find no appreciation for.

BBC documentaries are always great, I'll definitely check this out :-D Thanks for the advice! Do you know what channel it's going to be on? Probably Vox isn't it, they're often on Vox...

I rarely ever watch TV, I rather get the things I like as DVDs or files on my PC so I can watch them whenever I want (and as many times as I want)

I really love british bands^^
Klaxons, Kooks, McFly, The Clash, Enter Shikari...
so basically everything when it comes to genres...
indie and alternative are my favourites though

It's on Pro7. I also thought it would be on vox.. but no^^

i also don't watch a lot of tv. too much rubbish. i always watch stuff in the orf tv thek online. mostly political satire shows like wilkommen österreich or similar stuff

Well, satirical stuff is probably the best "rubbish" you can get. I was absolutely stunned when noticing how much shit there's on Pro7 and the like during the day. And I thought Frauentausch was bad... (which it still is, mind you)

Good taste too, I like a couple of these, Kooks and The Clash are great, I've grown up with The Clash as my dad's a big fan (along with Dire Straits, AC/DC and what not). You know The Decemberists? I ABSOLUTELY love them and I just found them by accident some years ago. If you haven't heard of them, check out "Summersong", it's lovely (even in Winter).

Ok, Pro7, noted. Gonna watch that, sure seems interesting...

Festivals are great indeed... I haven't been for a while, for my circuit never quite bears the atmosphere of lots of people cluttered up in very little space. I almost fainted during a Rammstein concert, not quite funny  I remember seeing a couple of nice bands on little town festivals though, Corvus Corax e.g., which was really great. Also, I once got forced to see DIDO with my mom.............*cough

Hmm, about "bigger" acts, I saw Tori Amos just recently in Berlin, and Snow Patrol a couple of years ago, back when I adored them a lot lol.

I've been to the FM4 frequency Festival in August.
It was amazing... 3 days. I saw more than 18 acts (Muse!!! The Drums,, first row, Die Toten Hosen, Wir Sind Helden, Bad Religion, Klaxons <3<3<3<3 etc...)
Awesome experience.. i wanna go next year too but money says no. and i'll probably have to work in august.
But element of crime would be great. the tickets aren't cheap though... :(

i like dido^^

I like exactly one song by Dido, and that's "It Comes And It Goes" And that's just for its astonishing similarity to "Wind" by Akeboshi (an Anime song that I have known for years and years and it's always been a lovely melody to me).

Muse are brilliant as well... and my mother has done a great deal to make me a Tote Hosen-fan... she failed, but there still are a couple of songs I really like - such as "Schwarzwaldklinik" and the album it was on (I forgot its name...Damenwahl? Was it that one?). She just liked them because she thought Campino is hot. Not my taste I have to admit

I prefer old men too actually... but he's kind of too rough for me I think  You know, I like it boring and conventional (at least on the outside)

If you miss England, you should go back :-) I'm kind of sad too though, as I won't be back in Wales until next year... nooooo! I usually drop by once a month, and mostly get to England too as Liverpool and Chester are like "around the corner", but well, not this year anymore... I'm planning to make another trip to London next spring though, probably in May to attend the HP7/2 Premiere :-) That'd be quite lovely

It's a good choice for a ringtone, lol. Well yes, school gets in the way... fortunately, I made my schedule so I would be able to make a trip from Friday to Monday, that's at least enough for a short trip...

Liverpool is lovely, a really lively town, but not as much in a rush as London is - although I love London with all the rush it has, it's just my city. But I might still make my semester abroad in Liverpool... the bay is so beautiful, there are these hills full of sand and light grass moving slightly from the wind... it's like in some kind of parallel world, really. :-D

i'd love to go to england to study there for a year or a semester. that would be a dream coming true.

It's not that much of a dream really, it's pretty possible if you start planning early enough so you can apply for a scholarship - if you have a Prof you like, he'll write you some kind of reference and that could really help you out. If you go via Erasmus you get some 200 bucks or something a month extra :-D Anyways, I'm studying in Potsdam, but living in Berlin, which causes a 1.5h journey there and back everyday *yawn

Anyways, if you're planning to do a semester abroad (a semester is probably a better idea, think of the fact that most likely you will have to "repeat" that semester, and if you get too many extra ones, Bafoeg might not be granted anymore.. if you have the cash, then go ahead ), just plan it soon enough, ask your Profs, they know everything about it and will help you to get scholarships etc. :-)
