Sounds like a good plan to me! I study English and Cultural Studies (kind of history mixed with aspects of anthropology, literature, arts, politics and everything else that resulted from humans changing nature )

That's what I said. And that's what I did. But you know, the funny thing is, the longer you're away from your parents, the more you treasure them anyways. Sometimes indeed it seems to be true that "absence makes the heart grow fonder". Because you'll only know what you have after it will be gone. (it starts with someone cooking food for you...oh those sweet days )

but when it comes to going out i could freak out
i am a day person and don't really like going out to drink or something like that. i worry too much about getting home, money and other stuff.
but they don't want to understand that and all i hear is: go out! meet new people!
i hate it.

Wish I would have had that problem back then I was always out too much for their taste. Well, they're not wrong though, going out in the evening doesn't automatically mean drinking and spending lots of money either. Cheap theatre tickets aren't more than 12 bucks, you could make a routine of one cultural evening a month or something like that, that's what I did... apart from that, don't you just meet up at other friends' places and play games or talk or things like that? Tell them that you would go out, then let them know your worries: You don't know how to get home and you don't have that much money, so either they would have to give you some and pick you up or they might as well be silent

My problem is: I know how to get home. They'd give me some money.....
I just don't like it.
I'm not a party person.
Meeting at friend's places is different. That is always nice, but going out to bars just sucks... I always feel very sick when I enter a bar, it's too hot, too full and i have to leave after 5 minutes.. psychosomatic apparently.
another point is, that my best friend's best friend and i can't really talk or hang out, because whenever i see him, i feel like i'm gonna puke (.. sometimes i do)
i told my best friend and he understands, but he'll not stop going out with his best buddy. they are friends since they're four.. so one of the friends i could go out with is never available.
my other friend is always very drunk and/or high and i don't really like that either, since i don't really drink..
it's pretty complicated... but i'll work it out.. someday^^

Why on EARTH do you have to puke when seeing that mate??? that's so funny I just literally laughed out loud. Well, you can't expect them to stop hanging out, but if you're friends you could just occasionally do some things on your own, it's not like they're glued together is it...

As for the bars, you must have some serious trauma lol... but (even if that's not quite useful in winter) some bars have an outdoor area You know, outside... no smoke, no heat, no crowds of people and you can even order a plain coke.

Well, things are complicated indeed, so is life... you'll find a way! (weird though, the thing with the bars, because that's what happens to me when attending a crowded concert, but apparently that doesn't matter to you... odd)

... pyschosomatic stress disorder or something like that. i kinda made out with him in summer. and i fell in love. and he's dating my friend now. i'm not in love with him anymore, but we'll never be friends like we were before summer^^
i just get sick when i see him or hear his name.
and they actually are glued together when it conmes to going out.
but i'm okay with it. i have other firends who are very indoorsy. so we meet at my place or their homes.

i only had one bad experience with a bar....^^ but that was after one beer and i bleme that on the four cheeseburgers i ate before going out^^
concerts don't matter... there you can dance, sing and just.. have fun (dance the macarena at a rock concert^^)
but i know how to enjoy other things.
like designing clothes or painting. or writing stories

Loved the 4 cheeseburgers thing. I never eat stuff like that, but once I was so drunk that I had a massive "Fressflash" so I went and ordered 3 Big Tasty Bacons. They were out quicker than in. Great experience.

I enjoy painting a lot as well Although I got a bit puzzled when I promised my uncle to paint a picture for his living room for 100 bucks and he ordered me a 1.60m x 60cm canvas attaching a letter "Here, that's how big I imagine it to be" Me like "umh... so... uh... ok, just give me a year."

yeah it's pretty annoying. i wish it wouldn't affect me that much

abstract art is my thing but when somebody asks me to draw a person.. phew... no way

I usually don't even eat burgers Don't ask me HOW the hell I managed to eat 3 of these devils back then... well, glad my friends dragged me home, ho ho.

I can't draw people really well either... I like surrealism a lot, though I probably won't be the next Dali :-/ But it's a nice hobby and I don't mind people paying me for it, obviously

i can't draw. if you want the picture to look like something real.. you shouldn't ask me to draw it
nobody ever gave me money for my paintings

but people often want to buy my clothes^^

See, that's kind of cool... try to find a niche and make money with it! Ideas are born to be lived

they are for me.. "juli das gesamtkunstwerk" like my friends call me
only very special people get shirts made by me and then it's a gift^^

Hmm well, why not! Emphasizing your own style by that seems pretty nice to me. I'm afraid I've never paid too much attention to my clothing, I just take care to look good, which I do, but my wardrobe really consists of mostly plain black or one-colour stuff.
