I understand much, but sometimes its difficult to say something as Iwanted to say.....

It is also quite hard to practice your language skills if you limit your input to the sentences Mad-Eye mentioned.

Sorry, I didn`t understand that sentence...

Yes, but I can`t discuss, when no-one is there to discuss.....
That`s the problem for this page, because there are just a few people who wants to talk english....
I think, that`s sad, because english is a nice language and I like it!!!

whinky , i can't speak english very well. my english marks at school wasn't that good :wink:

but i try to speak english. of course it isn't wrong to practice such an important language!
definetly i make many mistakes but i think it is far more important that you can understand me :wink:

But don´t go cheating and turn it back into German. Well.. no.. how could you: the English original voices of the actors are far better than the German ones, I think.
Esp. of course Snape and the one of Lucius Malfoy... No way to translate that sneer in the voice :lol:

yes, you're absolutely right. i have so often seen that DVD in german, that i makes no differences, if i see it in german or in english. i understand all dialogues without any problems

I always watch films in German, too, if I can.
But I use German subtitels, because I do not understand everything....
With the voices you are absolutly right, Abendstern!!!!
And the translation is often bad!!!
