Hey, this thread is a good idea! I haven't written in English since my "A-Level" (Abitur) written examination. I really need some practice, otherwise I will lose all my English skills...

@Ronni: You are 15 now? I think, that's a good time to announce for an exchange. I am 16 years old and I am now in exchange, so I was also 15, when I decided to spend a year in a foreign country (you can also spend a half year or three months, if you are not shure. But I think, its a pity, if you are there in a new family and just at this time, you start to understand and to like the people, you habe to go.)
But I think, it does not matter, how old you are, more than how you feel. Are you ready to spend a long time somewhere without your real family? Without your friends? Are you ready to learn another language? I think, you should talk with your family. Perhabs they are at first a little bit shocked, but that's normal I think.
If you want to make an exchange next year, it is good to decide it now. The sooner you decide the better, because, if you decide late, it could be, that in this country you have decided, no family is left, who want to host an exchange student. So, if you want, go to your head master in school, or who is responsible for exchanges. I now two organisations, with which you can make an exchange: AFS (with this, I make my exchange) and YFU.
But naturly you can waite some years bevor you will make an exchange.

I don't know how to start....Ähmm, I think its a great idea, too. I feel a little bit strange in writing english in this forum (? Is forum the right word ?) because i have only written something in english in some guest books in the www and in the english lessons at school. My english isn't very good, too... But you can see this, i think. Last year i was in amsterdam two times and everytime i was so shy that i went red as a tomate when i had to say something in english. it was bitter to see how bad i am in speaking this language

Me too! After reading this book or after watchin OC in english I also thougt in english. It's very funny, I think.

Sometimes I talk with my Friends in english! It's sooo funny XDDD Because we say every second word false XDD hahah, so *lööl* I don't have a Boyfriend oÖ I don't need one XD I do it with my self *g* woahhh!!! hahahahah! no! *just fun* XD *gggg*

I've thought in English, to, after I read that book, and I love to see Movies from USA or Britian in English, the voices form the Actors are much better then the synchro-voices ^^

Yeah, you're right.
I like to watch Series (?) in english, but sometimes it is very hard to unterstand. FRIENDS for example, is very easy. OC is much difficulty.
I also think that the original voices are much better.
