Well there are basicly 2 great series:

the fist is the "lost years of Merlin" serie. It consists of 5 Books, that deal with Merlin growing up on a magical Island between the celtic "otherworld" and the "real world". Thats a place where he collects experience and learns about magic and all that stuff.

The second is the great tree of avalon serie that takes place many years later...

Just google T.A.Barron! They are greatbooks. I've met the author on the frankfurt books fair, he is pretty cool! (I got a personal signed version of the first great tree of avalone book this way^^)

I don't know, why you're talking about these books, but I just wanted to say that I read the first book of "The lost years of Merlin"...
It was pretty good but unfortunally I hadn't the chance to read the other stories...

btw. I didn't know that someone is talking english here, but cool idea :mrgreen:

It's a good exercise for me, because I'm going to be one year in the USA...
